Discussing experiences can be difficult. The effect of these experiences play out in everyday life, in both conscious and unconscious ways. They can interfere with how content we feel and stop us being able to live our lives to the fullest. Sometimes it can feel as if talking about these things can bring back unwanted thoughts, memories and images. It is important to know that you are in a safe and supportive environment, so that thoughts and feelings can be discussed. My aim is to provide this so that we can work together and find the best way forward for you.

Sessions

Our initial session will be to explore what has brought you to therapy and how we could work together to meet your needs. I offer weekly sessions as this is important in the continuity of the work. Sessions usually last 50 minutes. I offer a variety of ways of working which can sometimes take longer. If needed, longer sessions can be arranged with prior notice.

Sessions are held at Orchard House, Portway, Wantage OX12 9BU, UK. The map and address can found on the contacts page.

All information is confidential in accordance with the BACP code of ethics.

Fees

Sessions cost £50.

Fees can be paid by cash or cheque at the beginning of the session, or by agreement monthly in advance.

48 hours notice is required for cancellations, otherwise the full session fees will apply.

I will consider concessions under certain circumstances.
